Some junior enlisted Marine families may have difficulty making ends meet as they struggle with housing and other living expenses.

Costs of everything are going up forcing some young families to rely on the federal SNAP and WIC programs (food stamps). 

Camp Pendleton on-base housing is at 98% capacity, and there is up to a twelve months wait for family units.  Living off base stresses family budgets such that some are renting as far away as Temecula, and even living in RVs at local campgrounds.

The Yorba Linda-11th MEU Adoption Committee has taken this to heart and is committed to supporting young Marine families with an ongoing Commissary Gift Card Campaign.

Camp Pendleton's modern Commissaries and smaller Marine Marts are stocked with a broad selection of brand name grocery items, as well as health, hygiene, and household needs.

Donating Commissary Gift Cards is a quick and safe way to assist our MEU families by giving the recipients the flexibility to choose what goes into their carts.

Anyone can order Commissary Gift Cards with just a click here or the logo above and have them mailed directly to the YL-11th MEU Adoption Committee.
