AUGUST 2022

11th MEU Change of Command

Every 11th MEU reorganizes approximately every 12 to 15 months. (Please see the “About” page for organization.)

On 2 August Colonel James Lively, the off-going 11th MEU commander, transferred the Unit’s Colors to Colonel Thomas Siverts, the incoming commander in a formal ceremony at the 21 Area parade deck.

Some Board Members of the Yorba Linda 11th MEU Adoption Committee were in attendance to wish Colonel Lively Fair Winds And Following Seas, and to Welcome Colonel Siverts and his family aboard.
